Pack The Kids started with a simple frustration: planning a family holiday takes forever, and most travel sites aren't built for families with young kids.
We research and write in-depth guides for families traveling with kids aged 0–12. Every activity is rated 4.0+, prices are real, and we tell you the downsides too.
We wanted one place. A guide for every destination. Researched specifically for families with young children. Written by someone who gets it — the pushchair logistics, the naptime calculus, the difference between a restaurant that tolerates kids and one that genuinely welcomes them.

Our guides are thoroughly researched — we aggregate information across hundreds of sources for each destination, structure it for families, and focus on what actually matters when travelling with kids.
We then apply a family-focused scoring system, cross-reference ratings, and validate recommendations against real family travel experiences. Our scoring considers factors like:
- Number and quality of kid-friendly activities
- Beach and outdoor space availability
- Practical family infrastructure (pushchair access, family rooms, etc.)
- Food culture and kid-friendly dining
- Overall family travel sentiment
We're transparent about this. These guides are not based on personal visits to every destination — they're comprehensive research tools built to help you plan. Use them as a starting point and a shortlist generator. The on-the-ground discovery is yours to make.
